ADO SA, since March 2025, is one of the Design Offices that has undertaken the preparation of the design for the “Marietta Giannakou” School Buildings Renovation Program.

The “Marietta Giannakou” program is accomplished, on behalf of the Greek State, by Ktiriakes Ypodomes SA and includes renovation works in 645 schools throughout Greece. ADO SA has undertaken the studies for 325 of these schools. Specifically, ADO SA prepares studies for 68 schools in Attica, 16 schools in Western Macedonia, 38 schools in Thessaly, 78 schools in Central Macedonia, 33 schools in Central Greece, 46 schools in Western Greece, 22 schools in Epirus, 14 schools in the Ionian Islands, 6 schools in the Peloponnese and 4 schools in the South Aegean.
The services offered by ADO SA for every school complex, include the following.

Visit to the school and detailed recording of all the problems that appear in the building infrastructure of the school unit (building, electromechanical installations, surrounding area) and require rehabilitation.
The deliverables are:
Design and Tender Documents for the specific works included in the program, namely external and internal wall painting, construction/repair/renovation of WC (including WC for disabled people), construction/repair of ramp for disabled people, construction/repair of basketball court or playground.

Based on the "Marietta Giannakou" School Building Renovation Program, once the studies are completed, the restoration and renovation works of the school buildings will be carried out.
ADO SA, since May 2023, is working on the project "Elaboration of Maturity Studies for Sewerage Projects of the Municipality of Megisti" in Kastellorizo, after a donation to the Municipality of Megisti, by the Non-Profit Civil Company AEGEAS.
The provided service is the preparation of the Hydraulic Studies of wastewater and rainwater drainage networks, as well as the biological treatment units for the communities of Megisti and Mandraki in Kastelorizo.

More specifically the studies executed are the following:
ADO SA in collaboration with the companies Roikos SA, SALFO SA and TWD Hellas, from March 2024, are implementing the project «Project Supervision and Management Services in relation to the project “Development of medium and low-pressure natural gas distribution networks in the Region of Epirus"» for enaon EDA HELLENIC GAS DISTRIBUTION COMPANY Sole Proprietorship.
The project is part of the wider investment program for the development of new urban networks in the Epirus Region, in order to connect and supply residential and commercial customers in a wide geographical range, initially covering the large urban areas of the region. The specific project concerns the cities of Ioannina, Arta, Preveza and Igoumenitsa.
The services provided are the Administration, Management, Control, Coordination and Supervision of the project works.

Since May 2022, ADO SA, in collaboration with ROIKOS SA as well as with SALFO SA and TWD Hellas, are completing the project «Project Supervision and Management Services in relation to the project “Development of medium and low-pressure gas distribution networks in the Central Greece area"» for the Public Gas Distribution Networks (DEDA).
The project is part of the wider investment program for the development of new urban networks in the Central Greece Region, in order to connect and cater to residential and commercial customers in the widest possible geographical area, covering in the first stage the large urban areas of the region. The works are done at the cities of Chalkida, Thebes, Lamia, Karpenisi, Amfissa and Livadia.
The services provided are the Administration, Management, Control, Coordination and Supervision of the project works.

The construction budget, for all the projects, in the 6 cities, is 32.000.000€.
ADO SA, since April 2021, is the Technical Advisor of the Building Infrastructure Directorate D21 of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for the preliminary preparation actions of an International Tender Process for the PPP Contract of the Project «Construction of Building Facilities for the Housing of the Services of the General Secretariat of Infrastructure of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and Landscaping, through PPP».

The building under construction on Piraeus Street, is estimated to be an exemplary construction that will constitute a landmark for the area, designed as per the most modern bioclimatic standards with intelligent functional capabilities. The building has a superstructure area of 19,000 square meters and 4 underground levels of 32,000 square meters and it will house all the services of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, including the office of the Minister. In addition to the offices, the building will include an amphitheater, a multipurpose hall, a conference center, a library, a Technology Museum, a kindergarten, restaurants and canteens.

Apart from the building, a pedestrian’s bridge will be constructed on Piraeus Street, which will serve the passage of pedestrians across the street and the needs of the area in general, as formed after the completion of the building. The surrounding area will also be renovated in order to give pedestrians access to the adjacent Suburban Railway “Rouf” Station and Piraeus Street, according to the aesthetic requirements of the new building that will include the installation of works of art and gardens.
ADO SA in a Joint Venture with SALFO AND ASSOCIATES SA have been awarded the Project Management and Technical Supervisory Services for the Paola Primary Health Care Southern Regional Hub Project in Malta.
The daily care health center, that will be constructed, is a nine level building (one level is underground) of total floor area 11.000 m2. Six of these levels will be fully serviced and fully finished medical floors (including operation rooms for surgeries). The other three levels will include plant rooms, water reservoirs and other auxiliary chambers.
The estimated total project cost is approximately € 36.500.000.
The provided services of the Joint Venture include the Project Management, the Technical Supervision and the Contract Management of 12 work packages, including the major one of Design and Build, of the Paola Primary Health Center. For the Design and Build work package, the services provided, are design checking, supervision of the execution of all the works, financial control, planning coordination and supervision of the implementation of the project activities, including their respective phases and milestones and liaising with all the stakeholders and other entities affected by the project.
Other packages include Medical Equipment and Medical Furniture, Electronic Equipment, Furniture, Soft Landscaping and IT packages. The services provided include the ordering, monitoring of deliveries, testing and commissioning and handover of all medical equipment, furniture, storage and logistics equipment, domestic appliances, IT equipment and all other fittings.
The project has kicked off at the end of 2018 and it is almost completed.
The Greek Joint Venture ADO SA with SALFO and Associates SA, in collaboration with Enviroplan SA, has been the nominated Contractor for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Consultancy Services for the construction of an organic processing plant in Malta
It is a high priority project for the Government of Malta, as it is a critical infrastructure project for achieving the objectives of the Malta National Waste Management Plan, in terms of reducing landfill waste, because of the need to achieve the relevant European objectives on one hand and the limited area of the island, which is not suitable for the development of additional landfills, on the other.
The scope of the contract of the Greek consortium is the provision of consulting services for the design of the project that will replace the existing organic waste treatment unit at Sant ’Antnin, but also for the management of its construction, with a planned duration of the design and construction period of about 5 years.
The services include the initial design of the new urban solid waste treatment plant, including the evaluation of alternative scenarios, feasibility study and cost-benefit analysis, all research and studies for the issuance of environmental assessment, building permits and pre-emptive inspections, the preparation of the tender documents for the evaluation and the selection of contractors that will execute the project and finally the management of the design and build project and the supervision during the defects liability period.
